Well marked trail. Start early. I hike a good bit and still this hike was challenging due to elevation. Some of the trail is very loose rock and soil and I fell during descent. Never worn a helmet before, but I learned why some of the climbers on this peak were wearing them. Also wish I had my poles, but they were back in the USA. But a very, very nice day and rewarding summit.

This is a beautiful hike...BUT WARNING! This is a very very hard hike. If you’re visiting from an elevation of less than 2000ft & consider yourself very active, you can do this hike, but, you will absolutely get acute mountain sickness. I had the worst headache of my life after this 6 hour trek.

Was closed cause of covid 19 but I reached the rainforest area ......and I felt the freedom..I'll be back soon
