Balneario "El salto del meco"

Absolutely gorgeous waterfalls. Lots of room to swim and can hold lots of people. Was the only one there at 11 am, so peaceful. Water was a bit cold

We came in December, it is not so cold and the water is warm, they will not freeze to death. They charge a small recovery fee which helps the locals keep the site in excellent condition. The water is crystal clear, it is worth the visit. I recommend water shoes, an airtight bag is essential to store cell phones, car keys and any electronics that can be affected by water. It has guides who will offer you a boat ride through the area, to eat it is worth visiting the nearby town "el Naranjo"
