Aluxes Ecopark

It's a 2-3 hour walk around the park.

We visited at 9:30am as they opened, so there were no other people around. It was a very good experience and well worth the visit.

Adorable place to see rescue animals. Crocodiles, monkeys, parrots, even jaguars. Nice and shady so great during the hot hours of the afternoon. Deceptively large as well, took us a few hours. Well worth the 150 pesos. Highly recommend

Amazing place. We were there on a cloudy afternoon. We pay extra to feed the manatees. We also got a chance to see how they feed the jaguar and the panther. There is a very nice walk in the jungle to go between the animals. This is no zoo. It is a reserve for hurt animals, . Place is great. A lot more animals than I thought. So much better than other zoos I've been to.

This is just a park. I meant it! You walk for lots miles get tired and pay for it :S Lots of heat, there are beautiful areas but I kept feeling bored and the kids too. There are beautiful scarlet macaws some monkeys but I felt is not worth unless you want just support the park service to the rescue animals.
