Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park

We had so much fun here, we arrived around 10:00am and they was only 1 other group of people. I am sure it is way busy during non-COVID times but the staff was amazing, the food is decently priced and the snorkelling is really pretty. We also did the tequila tour (included) which was a great local experience

I've been visiting Chankanaab for over 30 years. Great place to take children (or adults) to teach them to snorkel. Lots of fish and coral to see although it has dwindled over the decades do to too much tourism. I've swam with the dolphins once which was a great experience but very expensive. It's worth doing once in a lifetime for sure. If you need a half day cruise ship excursion this is a great place to just hang out and relax too. The beach is quite nice too.

Amazing place for Diving Snorkeling swimming. They have a Dolphine and Seal show. Sea Manatee. Mayan Ruins. Great food and drinks. A TEQUILA bar. An Awesome family place.

COVID has taken a toll on this place...much of it was not open, unfortunately. The reef at chankanaab is very accessible, and the snorkeling is good. The highlight of our day was snorkeling to the outside edge of the dolphin enclosure we could see and get close to many of the dolphins that were not "working." We saw several mama and babies as well. Recommend the tequila tasting as well.

Has many conveniences. We visited during the pandemic, and only a few days after Hurricane Zeta had made landfall. All-in-all, we had a really good time.
