Wonderful drive through the country side an very informative. Lots of things to learn from pre Spanish conquest enjoyed immensely.

We had a good time. I was fascinated by the historical foods we were shown. I very much wish I remembered/knew what the greens were in the tamal we were given. Simply AMAZING. We did this as a tour through Carnival and I'm glad we did. Included shopping and lunch which is very toned down on the hot spice level for is not accustomed to having "eek" *habanero* as a staple in our diet. Elsy was our guide and she was really great with the "bla bla bla" as she said. The game itself - I can't imagine the athleticism required to play this as long as they said their rituals lasted. Just to do it repetitively over the day for the tours would be exhausting enough. There is also a dance show during lunch. For an easy, educational, tasty, and entertaining day, check this place out. Malo keen!

Fascinating (and delicious) tour of Mayan culture and foods. The staff were all very hospitable and friendly. Worth a look if you're in Cozumel!

Such a great experience! Our guide Elsie was spectacular - really interesting, fun and engaging -especially with the kids (in both English and Spanish) The ball game was really the peak of the experience those guys are - AWESOME! It’s both fun and educational for kids and adults. I found it was very well thought out and there’s a lot of attention to detail. I did not mind at all giving a couple dollars along the way at the different stations to show my appreciation for the effort of everyone involved in putting this thing together. Never felt any pressure at any point to give extra money. Don’t miss this experience if you come to Cozumel! Help support the local economy and the preservation of history and culture.
