Delphinus Riviera Maya

Did a dolphin tour here complete with a double dolphin foot push! It was unbelievable! For $250+ we got the whole experience and it was magical! Staff is amazing and the location is beautiful. The animals are majestic. My only gripe is this. For the photo video package plus a framed pic they wanted $300!... That's more than the ticket price! You could go down to $200 for just video and digital photos or down to $100 for just the digital photos. All we wanted was a single picture for a reasonable price.

The experience itself was great. The package i did cost $59 (Purple wristband) for a 30 minute interaction. It was originally $99, but they gave me a special discount (I think because of low attendance due to COVID). The dolphin interaction included swimming into the dolphin pool with the dolphins swimming up to you and around you so you can pet them while you float around. It also included learning some hand signals for the dolphins to perform some tricks while you're floating in the middle of the pool. Finally, they provided super cute photo ops with the dolphins. They make the dolphin pose while giving you a "kiss" on the cheek, another pose with the dolphin touching the tip of your outstretched hand, and one more pose of you caressing the dolphin close to your face. Super cute poses! If you're hoping to get good pictures on your own, you will need a professional camera because they strategically place the interactions far away from the spectators area making it impossible for good photos from a cell phone. They do take video and pictures of the entire activity from beginning to end. However, they are EXTREMELY expensive to purchase. $79 for all your pictures (digitally) $39 for ONE picture which they will print and add a small frame. Then they have more expensive picture packages after that. I got the $79 one because I loved all the pictures and I couldn't choose just one. But the pictures were amazing quality overall. The photogr One thing I didn't like about the experience was how many people were also a part of my group. I was grouped with 3 other families. We were 10 in my group. I wish the group was a max of 5 people because it took away from the dolphin time. You had to awkwardly wait in the middle of the pool for the dolphin to swim to and around everyone in order to get to pet it again. Overall, it was a great experience. I just wish it was more personal.

Absolutely amazing! Loved getting to be in the water with some of the most amazing creatures in the world! Absolutely Breathtaking! The instructors are also very knowledgeable and good at what they do.
