SCAM! DO NOT GET GAS HERE. Believe all the other reviews. The attendants run your credit card, then claim the machine isn't working. They say you must pay cash in pesos or dollars. Then the charge shows up on your credit card anyway. I disputed it with Chase. Also, they manipulate the pump to show far more than the actual cost. The car I had a gas tank size of 39 liters, so at 20 pesos a liter the most it could cost is 780 pesos. The tank was only about half empty, yet I the gas pump showed that it cost 1000 pesos to fill it up. Do not do business with these people. This is just one of the many scams I encountered in Cozumel and why I will not be going back there.

Looks like I wasn't the only person they STOLE FROM! Told me cc didn't work... then gave them a second card... still didn't work! ended up giving them cash. Came home to two separate charges. These bad hombres will steal from you. Its bad for tourism! Karma is coming.

Believe all the scam reviews. Same as everyone else. One guy distracts you while the other puts gas in the tank from a pump that is not at zero to start with. DO NOT USE YOUR credit card! They will scam you with a "not working" and ask you to pay cash. I was able to successfully dispute it with Wells Fargo. The gas station provided a receipt with a signature that was most definitely not mine. It took some time, but I wasn't going to let them get away with it. Only get gas from the cruise port. Even the car rental place knew about this place and their operations. Something needs to be done. I don't know where the non 1 star reviews are coming from but I am suspicious they are fake - ask yourself who reviews a gas station unless they've had a bad experience?

Same thing happened to me yesterday as many of these other reviews. There were 2 guys. One was pumping the gas, the other really chatty, washing my windows and clearly trying to distract us. Pump was at zero to start, and I watched it climb to about 700 pesos when the window washer distracted me by asking me to confirm that the tank was full. I turned on the car, and while I looked away, the guy at the pump pushed some buttons and suddenly it said I owed 1,564 pesos. My tank was half full before I started, so I knew this was wrong. After giving him 1,570 pesos, I was still scepitocal, so I pulled over next to the office area and asked to speak to someone about getting a receipt showing how many liters. Manager tried to tell me that it was impossible to get a receipt because the screen had already been cleared. I told him he can explain that to the Policia when they get there, as I was about to call them. The manager then asked me how much I think I should owe, and I told him I was watching the pump, and it was closer to 750 pesos. As I made a scene in front of other customers, he forced the gas pumper to hand back 800 pesos. SCAM.

SCAM $120 ! - told us our credit card declined so asked us to pay cash, which we did - then to realised we had a $120 charge on our card statement! Wish we had checked reviews for this station before gone there but was just a quick stop on the way...
