Stay Away !!!!! Or take a Mexican friend 😁Half a tank for our rental VW said 600 Mx . He said is that enough once done filling and I said yes then the price doubled to 1190 pesos! They charged us $65 us for half a tank on an economy rental (small car) and I made sure they started at zero. Then they couldn’t take credit Even tho they said yes when we pulled in,,, so we had to scrounge up money to pay the over inflated bill. No one spoke English to help explain why it cost so much. Later at hotel the staff (American) told us in Cozumel they rip u off on gas, Claim to take credit and the trick u to extort more cash. DO NOT GO TO PEMIX HERE OR TRUSY ANY OF THEM. THEY ARE CROOKS — it happened to us, twice, and even on the send time when we knew to argue it did not good.

Went to fill up. They said our credit card didn’t work. Wanted cash. They said it was 60 dollars US. Seemed a little high as we only filled about a half a tank. We pay the guy and pull forward. It was only 18 pesos and some change per liter. We did the math with their exchange rate and it came to 37 US. We went back up to guy and argued. Within 10 seconds he gave us our money back. Big scam. Incredible common at these gas stations. Make sure they zero the scale before filling up and get out of the car and watch them.

Scammers, change the price on the pump when your not looking and overcharge you. Stay away!!!!

Scam! They overcharge tourists, we argued and got some of the money back. We were told by the rental agency it’s not the first time it happened in this station. Don’t use their services!

Got a scammed into overpaying for a tiny amount of fuel into a scooter. Be sure to pay in pesos and verify the volume yourself before they play around with the display to show a final price
