Blue Magic Hostel

I've stayed in many hostels across the world and this one is up there with the worst. There's absolutely no regulations in regards to distancing or your health in the 'rooms'.The bathrooms and showers are dirty and the receptionist and check in process are equally as bad. I'd save your pesos and book one of the many brilliant hotels in Cozumel for a similar price. Do not waste your valuable time on this place. Diving or just visiting, consider somewhere else as I wouldn't keep a horse there.

Friendly place; the guests, the staff, ( L'Oréal, Celest and Lenny) all very nice people. The whole scene seems to be about diving, but that didn't bother me too much. Cool place.

Absolutely terrible. I have never left a 1 star review. Unclean, lady at front desk rude, and no vibe whatsoever. Don't know why there are so many good reviews for this place. Unless you are staying for free while you dive, avoid this hostel.

Clean, practical and quiet location - short walk from downtown. The staff is super helpful to make sure you’ll have the best time on the island. Make sure to go scuba diving with Blue Magic to get a special deal for staying here! Recommend it for budget travellers!

Awesome place if you wanna dive, but not so much if you're looking for a coozy place to hand out with other people.
