Cozumel Cooking Classes with Josefina

We have attended Josefina’s cooking class twice and will visit here every time we are in Cozumel. Looking forward to it again this coming spring!

The cooking class with Josefina was the highlight of my recent trip to Cozumel. My travel partner and I both had multiple food allergies and Josefina did a fabulous job of accommodating our special dietary needs. We both enjoyed learning about traditional Yucatan cuisine and getting to participate in some of the hands on portions of the cooking class. To us, it was the perfect balance of hands on and demonstration. Josefina is so welcoming and certainly made our visit to Cozumel. We wouldn't hesitate to take the cooking class again. You will not go hungry if you participate!

We had a wonderful time. It was a treat to go to the market. The dishes we made were so delicious and easy, too. We're excited to try the recipes again at home. Overall, this was a great way to do something different, get away from the cruise ship passengers, meet some locals, and eat (and make) some delicious food.

This class was the best part of the trip for me. Josefina was a great teacher! The food that we made was outstanding. Definitely my best meal of the trip! I am looking forward to making some of her recipes at home.

This was a great experience. Josefina and her assistants were all so gracious as they led us through the process of selecting a menu, shopping for, assisting in preparation and ultimately enjoying the eating of a wonderful variety of local dishes. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to experience a bit of the culture of Cozumel, Mexico
