My little ones have a great experience, very fun for them and a lot of butterflies but most of them are the same kind. I came here 12 years ago and it was fuller of butterflies all colors all sizes, then a came on 2018 and was little to none butterflies (april) now on December 2020 I am glad to see has a lot of butterflies, no as many as before but at least is getting better, if you are on the park and want a dry activity for small kids come here specially like you need to pass the aviary

Xcaret is a great place. The under ground river is great the water is cool and refreshing. It's such a great experience! The 7 o'clock show was amazing!! The costumes are amazing. The singing, dancing the history of Mexico is incredible!! I wish that with all the money they make they would have fans in that area? How much can that cost? We paid 50 dollars a person for the dinner and the food was good but different. If you are a picky eater you probably won't like a lot of the traditional food. It's so very hot and muggy but that's the weather there.

The lazy river is a major disappointment, you are in an enclosed cave for most of the time. The aviary and butterfly compound are major excellent and part of a Mayan village recreation which, of course, is a shopping mall. All the attractions like snorkeling costs extra and too much. You can do better on your own

Xcaret is beautiful, it has changed and more touristie than it used to be. The water is not as blue as it once was due to the man made beaches and lagoon. Before when it was a natural wonder it was so much prettier. The aviary is beautiful.

It's Disneyland with Mexican history lesson and nature park thrown in for good measure. If you're in the area a great day adventure at reasonable price. Easy to find attractions with color coded markings and map in hand. Great for a quick look at Mexican heritage and culture with some spectacular views on the waterfront. Wear comfortable clothes including hat and shoes, you're going to do some walking. Bathing suit is mandatory for the underground river, a don't miss attraction. Stay hydrated, wear sunscreen and at least attempt Spanish to interact with locals, after all it's a celebration of their culture.
