Tosepan Kali

The staff is very friendly and their traditional clothing as well as the fact that all of them are native Náhuatl speaker are completing the experience of being in the Selva Norte de Puebla. The design of both, the hotel as well as the hostel, are simple, but authentic. The breakfast is changing every day. There is always just one option, but at least the ingredients are all locally produced. The chickens that lay your breakfast eggs are even running around on the terrace happily. The dishes are vegetarian, but I guess it will be hard to find a vegan option. The pool is spacious, but could be a little cleaner. The bed I had was a little uncomfortable and squeaky, but everything else was completely satisfactory. I wanna go back to try their Spa!

The hotel concept is to connect with nature. Is run by a local community. The rooms have all the necessary commodities (power and water), and by choice doesn't have TV, AC or WiFi. Is a good option is what you are looking for is to disconnect from the world. Make sure you have a good pair of sneakers since when it rains the road can be a bit slippery.

Good mood. Good food. Good place in general. Quite in touch with nature and calm
