This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of the Mixteca region surrounded by stunning habitat. The owners, Josefina and Ildefonso have attended to the many groups of naturalists and botanists I have brought to visit the area and have always done a superb job of providing housing and hospitality!
It is a good place in general, especially clean, with its limitations but a very good option.
Good option of lodging in Santiago Chazumba, at the foot of the road the trucks are listened to, if they have the light dream they could spend bad night. The owners are super friendly.
The TV only has 1 channel (which they decide from the office), the mattresses could be firmer.
Considering that there are not many lodging options in Chazumba, I would leave it as a last option. The mattresses are very old and you can not rest 100%
The metals of the mattresses feel too much, the TV is analog.
