Muss Café

Came for coffee. Didn't try any food. The americano I had was the best I tried in the city after a week of living here- great third wave coffee, fruity and complex. On par with Boulenc. The cold brew needs improvement, wouldn't recommend that.

The grilled sandwich was very good, but we where hoping to sit in a nice open space and it wasnt the case... the pictures in that sence where misleading.

This was a great americano. Very similar to third wave coffee in many other cities. It was much needed after drinking a lot of instant coffee in other places on vacation. The atmosphere is nice for work. It is attached to a hotel courtyard with more seating. Hot chocolate with milk was also nice. We also noticed the bar after the fact but it’s decently stocked. The bathroom is gender neutral but a little small.

Good coffee and food. They just need more gluten free options, since they don't really have any :)

Muss Café is definitely a must in Oaxaca City. After a very long trip we were in need of a very good coffee, and browsing on @googlemaps and @instagram this looked like one of the best cafés downtown since it had great reviews and pictures, therefore, we decided to stop by. For starters, it is located on a very beautiful old building with a contemporary touch. It has a beautiful inside patio which we were not able to enjoy because it was fully booked, but we will definitely go back to enjoy it. We ordered an americano with steamed milk and a cold brew- both were absolutely delicious. The menu has plenty of healthy options for breakfast, we tried the avocado toast (Green tomatoes + feta cheese + olive oil + sourdough), and a danish bread. It is a good place to work since the WiFi and the ambiance are great.
