SILMEXICO INVESTMENT PROPERTIES

We wanted to buy a house but had a terrible experience with Silmexico instead. Nobody replies email, appointments are changed at the last minute, houses on their ever down website are mysteriously not viewable. They send college students to lead visits who clearly don’t have a clue about anything related to real estate. A waste of time. They never followed up on questions and request for additional information. We ended up using a smaller agency. Do not settle on a company just because they have a website in english! Also note all the fake reviews on the company profile. All these enthusiastic reviews are only for Silmexico outfits through Mexico. Disappointing.

Great place to work at. Interacting with lots of diverse cultures. Proof that the world definitely is a small place.

OK service, dirty apartment, EXPENSIVE. Try Facebook Oaxaca Property for rentals, you'll get a better deal. Wish we would have known this. Apartment was returned to them cleaner than they gave it to us, and they claimed it was "dirty" and tried to charge us even more. For the ridiculous high price we paid, you'd think they would offer cleaning. Oh, and the apartment had bad plumbing, the cheapest linens imaginable , and the "fix" for the plumbing was even worse than the problem. We ran out of water regularly. They didn't treat us very well, which is funny. They lost a potential lifelong client. We liked that they spoke English, but didn't like the way we were treated. We dealt with it, but the trying to charge even more at move out was too much. I felt compelled to warn about them.

Can't recommend them highly enough. Service was incredible and Dolores, the owner, was so attentive. She helped us find our dream spot in Oaxaca. Can't thank the team enough for everything they did for us.

I had a great experience with SilMexico and the people who work there. They are very communicative and efficient. Highly recommended!
