Museo de Sitio de Monte Albán

We really enjoyed this site. You have a nice view and cool breeze. The architecture is amazing. The museum was close due to covid. It's really easy to get there on a bus from the city.

An incredible archeological site, well preserved with helpful signage in Spanish and English. Some notes on COVID opening - the site opens at 10am but there is a daily limit of 400 people so, if you’re driving, it’s best to get there around 9/9.30 and join the queue of cars. We took some coffee and pastries and were ready for a long wait. We arrived at 9.30 on a Saturday morning and got in around 11am. It was all very well organized and sanitized - and well worth the queue.
