I cannot recommend this company enough! It's been almost three years since we did the Santiago Apoala tour with Yves and I'm still thinking about it. The communication when booking was clear and prompt. The pick-up at our hotel was timely and well-organized. From the moment Yves came and got us to when he dropped us off afterwards, we were able to fully relax and enjoy ourselves. Venturing into the indigenous village was an incredible experience. Meeting individuals that only spoke Zapotec and learning some of their words was wonderful and eye-opening. The waterfall on Day 2 is still the most beautiful waterfall I've ever seen. Yves was knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. Thank you!

A funky and really funny French man guides you through the Mex wilderness. It was a great time and out of the 5 ish courses of food fed to me by the locals of some town only 1 didn't taste good. Make sure to bring insect repellent.

I was quite late trying to book a hiking tour in Easter week. I send an email to check if they still had spots available. Unfortunately they had not, but they did give me information on another hiking agency (I eventually did not want to go with the other agency because it was overpriced in my opinion). Fortunately Tierraventura emailed me a couple of days later that there was a cancelation and that I could join after all. The hike I did was the "San Miguel del Valle - Cueva de la Iglesia" which was very enjoyable even in hot weather since you are walking in a lot of pine forest. Hike was easy for me and we had plenty of time to make pictures. Water and snacks were included as well as a lovely lunch. I definitely recommend booking a hike with Tierraventura. You won't regret it!

This is an amazing tour!. Yves picked me up from my hotel. As we traveled to pick up the guide, he shared some history of Oaxaxa with me. We had a lot of laughs. Once with picked up Hilario, our guide, the adventure began. We had to walk across the highway to our starting point, crawl under a fence, then take our shoes off to cross the stream. All the time, looking for crocodiles. As we walked, Hilario stopped to explain some of the plants. And, he made sure to have Yves translated everything in English for me. It was so cool. Hilario would also check to make sure that I was ok. He would say "Esta bien?." I would say "Si, estoy bien... muy bien." It was a blast. Before I realized it, we were at the cave. Yves said that we would be there 5 hours. I thought that he was joking. When we reached the cave, Hilario drew a line that we were not to cross. He was very concerned about protecting the area. It's historical! In this area is the first domestication of food crops (corn, beans and calabash) in the Americas. This was my first hike. And, I'm happy that I did it with Yves and Hilario. I highly recommend it. June 2017
