One star is a generous rating. Both my mom and I were incredibly underwhelmed by the treatment. From the moment we started, the wrong massage was prepared for me so we had to wait 20+ minutes for the stones to be warmed up. Following that, we were given a towel to wrap ourselves in to get to the treatment room, when there were robes visibly there. For a personal service, the service attendants did not introduce themselves. There was no place to communicate where our areas of concern were. Once in the room, the service was poor. Both My mom (sun’s house) and I (hot stone) did not enjoy the experience. My mom said that her attendant hurt her in some places and she even winced, and is still soar 24 hours later. The attendee did not focus on areas that needed attention, nor touched the area that made her wince again and in other places barely applied any pressure. When My mom looked up, she saw her attendee looking away, completely disengaged. We both felt that the head massage was more of a messing of our hair for 3 seconds than a massage. My massage with the hot stone was disappointing as I mentioned to the English speaking staff prior to the treatment that I am so soar. My attendee did not use the hot stone to work and treat the muscles, but to rub them up and down superficially whatever area she was ‘working on’. After we had to ask where the showers were so we could rinse off as far too much oil was used. We were not offered any slippers and had to run across the hot stones in bare feet in a skimpy towel to the showers in the back when other guests were there including a male, which made it even worse. This was incredibly overpriced for the service we received. We did not leave feeling better or even good. Had the experience been better I would have bought some product from the front as there was some items I had wanted, but I just wanted to get out as soon as possible. La Casa Del Sol reached out after on WhatsApp to ask what we thought of the service and I explained everything above. They mentioned that they do not offer slippers and suggest guests to bring sandals, however did not mention anything to us prior. They offered for us to come back free of charge to have the services again with different attendees, but I would not return. I have no desire to return ever again. It is not worth the time and the money. I strongly do not recommend. Please save yourself and go elsewhere.

Every time my husband and I come to Huatulco, La Casa del Sol is a mandatory stop to relax and get a great massage. We really enjoy our time in this place. It's amazing and very professional. My only "concern" is that there's only women to massage, not men. But I repeat, amazing experience.

One of the best experience in Huatulco for me. Worth every peso spent in here. I recommend the packages so you can have full experience of mexican style spa. One of my favorite things was that the service is done outdoors (but with privacy) so you can enjoy to the fullest the hidden nature. But also you should consider the weather, I was there at the end of June so the weather was perfect! The employees are also very kind and they don't bother you. Every service was done so smoothly. Thank you!

My husband and I visited in November. It was easy to book at they picked us up from our resort. We did the temazcal and had a coffee exfoliation and a 60min massage. In total it was almost 3hrs including transport. It was an excellent experience and great value for money. I recommend this over spas in hotel resorts - its a more authentic and relaxing, personal experience. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return when we visit the area again.
