PARKING SCAM: I parked in their lot for less than an hour at night when the entire lot was empty and the town was dead. When I came back to my car, they told me (intentionally after the fact) that parking was 50 pesos. No signage, no one said anything when I parked, but they immediately came out when I returned.

I just ordered tlayudas con carne and it was just OK but it was my first tlayuda so I didn't know what to expect. The service was correct and fast enough. It's a family local atmosphere.

Tasajo was unchewable, little flavor. Toilets dirty and no seats.

Once you get to this little village three hours approximately from Oaxaca you'll be half way on your way to Pochutla and Puerto angel there are few restaurants, hotels and cabins if you want to spend a night or just stop for coffee or food in the beginning of rain season between July an September sometimes you can find hallucinogenic mushrooms if you ask around there are few hiking trails and also temazcal and massage
