The place is very nice, debatably the best facilities in the area. The full staff was incredibly friendly. Take their free tour! You can taste as much mezcal as you want before buying. I will definitely go back for more bottles of mezcal. We also ate there, the food was good as well as the view, although a bit overpriced for my liking.

Great service! Super friendly staff. Had a complimentary mezcal tasting. Most mezcals were great. Nice, cozy, and original venue. Outdoor seating available to grab a mezcal cocktail. Not expensive at all. Close to the main highway. A must when traveling to Matatlan.

Nice example of mezcal distiller. Have a good explanation of the process, have the horse and provide plenty of samples.

Eduardo gave us a tour through the palenque and clearly explained the whole process of mezcal. We then went to the tasting room and had a chance to taste all of their different variations.
