Nice but no place to wait outside for friends and family

Very friendly and warm people at the US consulate. I don't speak Spanish and didn't face any challenge in navigating through. Every official at US consulate was very warm and every ready to help. No Electronic item or bags are allowed in side the consulate. There is a small cafe outside the consulate, where you can keep your bag/mobile in the locker at 40 Pesos. So if want to take Uber to consulate , you can use mobile and keep the mobile in cafe locker. I was with family and family is given priority at the entrance.

For Americans is so fast and easy They have a different sections for Americans and not Americans. BUT WARNING!🛑 TAXIS ARE BAD! WATCH OUT 👀 i got robbed few times,do not get taxi out side in the street.

Very organized. I came from USA for visa and don't speak much Spanish. Some guards outside speak English very well. That helped. There is a small shop which also has lockers for 40 pesos. So, you can take an Uber to the consulate and leave your phone in the locker. Locals advised never to take a regular taxi.
