Do not stay here. I had originally booked a stay here for 3 nights. On arrival they had no idea that our reservation was even made and the room wasn't ready. On our first night, the property owner hosted a party. They had obscenely loud music playing from 9:00 pm until 6:00 am the next morning. Around 4:30 am, the party decided to start shooting guns at who knows what, directly outside of the room we were staying in. Needless to say, as soon as the party died down, and the participants fell asleep, we packed up our belongings and never went back. Again, don't stay here.

At least if you're anything like me, you should probably pass on this place, or at the very you should know what you're getting. On the plus side, the room was clean and spacious and it looks like renovations were recently completed. The area is very safe and you have a private parking spot if you have a car. There is a large gathering area with benches and grills and a pool that is maybe heated in the summer. On the other hand, there was no toilet seat installed and the hot water never worked while I was there. There was internet but it took me 4 days to get the password and then it didn't work. Getting into the complex late or early could be tricky given that they lock the gate without always someone manning it. I never had to climb the wall but that seemed like luck more than anything. It's about a mile walk to the park if you're there to climb. There is a kitchen but it didn't seem like it was something I could use as it was mostly locked, luckily I had friends at Rancho El Sendero. The thing that really put me over was the noise. Most nights the guy watching the property would watch TV until late in the room next door. That was one thing, but the last night I was there, someone else who worked here had a party for his friends with loudspeakers in the common area right outside my room. He seemed confused and then later annoyed when I asked to turn the music down at ten... and again after midnight when he turned it down for about a half hour and then turned it back up. I gave up after that and just didn't sleep at all.
