Its construction began in 1948 in the period of the provisional governor General Raúl Garate Leglu after having demolished the former Juarez Theater, it was officially inaugurated in 1951, to date it has not had significant changes in its structure, it houses the Executive power of the State of Tamaulipas, excellent building.
