The Chintamani retreat center is a beautiful location at the Yautepec municipality in Morelos. The location has 3 major structures - the dinning room, the dorms and the closed retreat hall. Apart from that it has hammocks and benches scattered around for the yogis to seat and contemplate. The garden is quite big and is treated in a way that makes sort of abstract walking paths for the walking meditation. The meals, which are made by women from the nearby town, are of vegetarian diet. The food is very tasty and balanced. The places is managed by the buddhist center of Mexico City which offers retreats of various length and themes. I have participated in a mindfulness retreat which was very good and well elaborated.

It is a nice place to meditate, walk and practice yoga. Delicious ovo-lacto-vegetarian food is served. With natural sounds and security inside the place, hot and cold water, to taste. What I did not like, in the days that I was in Buddhist retreat, is that I frequently came across red scorpions, spiders, centipedes and bedbugs. Everything was going very well, even before finding these animals.

Excellent place to make your retirement because you breathe peace, a little difficult to find the entrance but inside is a different world, in the cafeteria they give you very rich vegetarian food and the people are friendly. The rooms are very spacious and clean.
