Great place to have a burger (beef or veggie) , excellent home made pasta, or a great salad. Service is simply wonderful. Super clean.

At first sight, Jardín del Fauno seems like a simple cafe, but for some reason they decided to blast minimal techno music at full volume through the peaceful neighbourhoods of the sleepy hippy town Tepoztlán. This might seem surprising, as the place is open air and has no walls which would contain the noise - for the owners however it seemed completely normal. They didn't react to a friendly request to turn down the volume, then reacted to a very unfriendly request, but turned up the volume after 10 minutes or so and didn't turn it down until 11 pm or so.

Great open environment to write and or to hang out with a large group of friends. Friendly and attentive staff. Great beer selection.

A secret oasis in the heart of Tepoztlan. You have to walk through a craft/furniture store (La Juriquilla) and a local Fonda behind that to arrive at this charming garden bistro. Family-run, delicious fresh food, laid-back and friendly atmosphere with attentive service. The perfect place to escape weekend crowds and enjoy genuine refreshment.
