Excellent place full of history, it was inaugurated in 1950 and was built on the initiative of Gen. Raúl Garate Leglu Provisional Governor of Tamaulipas, in that place was the old Juarez Theater which was demolished in 1948 to give way to the construction of the current Palace of Government of the State of Tamaulipas.

I have been amazed with the architecture of the place, it is quite nice next to it, there is a very well-preserved square and very crowded by the families of the city, the attention from the staff of the government palace is excellent, they always attend you in the most mashable way
