Lotus Boutique Hotel & Wellness Center

This was the third resort I've stayed at on the island, and it is was my best experience to date. The resort consists of 6 very unique rooms. This allowed for an intimate and personable experience. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. You seriously will not encounter anything like it anywhere else on the island. Originally we were in a room with a plunge pool. Unfortunately we chose to go during a cold front, so were unable to enjoy it. We casually mentioned to Israel how chilly it was and how cold the plunge pool was because of it. He was so kind, and moved us to a larger room with a jetted tub. The location of this resort is perfect. You will be on a private part of the beach. The resort provides beach lounging which makes laying out comfortable and easy. You will also be walking distance to many restaurants and shops. If you'd like to explore the island there is a golf cart shop a couple of blocks away where you can rent a cart for roughly $15/hour, or $55/day. SN: Lemón is a restaurant on the island worth renting a cart to experience. The bartender was the coolest man. He also makes delicious drinks. There's something for everyone. The menu at the restaurant is limited. I'm not sure if this is due to covid, but it's probably because its not a large resort. The lobster and steak are delicious. I also enjoyed a few other items on the menu, but you may want to venture off the resort for most dining.

I do not know where to start! I’ve been in high luxury hospitality for a very long time, so I really take my time to choose carefully where I will stay when I travel. We chose this place because obviously it looks beautiful and the location is unbeatable, but more importantly we chose this place because of its reputation for service and focused attention. Not only were we thrilled with the product, we were blown away by the hotel manager Alexander. But he’s more than that: he’s also the best concierge I’ve ever met - and that’s saying a lot because I’ve worked with the best in New York City. His knowledge of his island is intimate and thorough. His recommendations are PERFECT. His focus is highly individualized. When you book this place, you don’t just book it for the rooms, you book it for Alexander! Truly. If I were to write out here everything he did and how wonderful he made our very short stay, I might as well just publish a book. And I would title it “Alexander the Greatest”. Look, there are a couple of little tiny nitpicks you could make about the product that I will mention to them in private for the opportunity to be even more amazing. But they are so insignificant that I won’t even bother mentioning them here. Just go, relax you mind, stay, trust and let Alexander do what he does. You’ll be in unbelievably good hands!!! I would not even think of coming back to Isla Mujeres without staying here.

It was a fabulous short stay and I wish I could of stayed longer. I arrived late at night on October 5 2019 and Israel was there to assist me checking in. He was fabulous and made me feel so welcome. Tired after traveling he assisted me to my room and made sure I was set for the night and that I had everything I needed. ( 😉 Thank you so much). It was a gorgeous elegant clean room. A huge comfortable bed and all the accessories one would need for a stay. The sliding door off my room reviled a beautiful view of the ocean and a gigantic private outside sunken spa tub that you could leisurely enjoy the view. It was very quiet during the night and I got a good sleep listening to the ocean. The restaurant was set up very nice and the food was scrumptious. I had trouble opening the ketchup package and the waiter god bless his soul came over and helped me. I wish I could remember his name but he was tall and I believe he had a pony tail. Thank you for a beautiful presentation and help during my dining experience. Israel who checked me in also came by to make sure I had everything I needed. What a great team effort to make sure my stay was great. When I checked out, Israel and I think it was the owner came and gave me big hugs just like I was family! I definitely recommend this Hotel for feeling safe, welcomed, dining experience, incredible surrounding and view. I give this place 5 Stars.❤️❤️👍

My girlfriend and I booked this beach front hotel last minute on our vacation to Cancun area. We decided to spend the day in Isla Mujeres so we wanted a nice beach front room that accommodated our desires. Well let me tell you, you have to go to this special intimate hotel . They take COVID precautions seriously, we felt very clean and comfortable during our stay. The minute we booked this place we received a special phone call from Alexander thanking us for booking with them. He asked if we had any special accommodations or if we were celebrating anything special, and yes it was my birthday gift. Upon arrival, we felt like family, we were received with a great vibe and made us feel like we were super special. Alexander checked us in and escorted us to our beautiful suite. Alexander fully loves his island with all his heart and offered us local eateries to attend. This information was very helpful because we were just tired of all the hustle from vendors trying to sell you all kinds of stuff (food and souvenirs) at enormous prices! After the full day on the beautiful island we returned to our room and were greeted with an fresh ice cold coconut to drink. That was a very special touch by the GURU manager Mauricio. Mauricio super exceeded a true hospitality atmosphere with his great personality. He made us feel like we have been friends forever. For my birthday he offered me a special drink and expressed the gratitude towards us choosing GURU restaurant/ bar. Mauricio’s pays close attention to details and will bend over backwards to make your stay a fabulous experience ! The great knowledge of his bar tending skills really go unnoticed and we were so happy to be in his hands, he really knows how to read they guests and their desires. The food is amazing .... special shout out to the chefs and especially Leo , our sever. GURU menu is very simple but they use the top quality of products. To top off our special visit, GURU placed a table in the beach front patio overlooking the cove. We just loved listening to the ocean waves as they splash along the beach making our dinner an unforgettable experience . The next day Alexander sent us breakfast in bed ! The best! Unimaginable favors of their restaurant! Gotta have the buttermilk pancakes - the best! Well our trip came to an end and we sad to say good buy. We will definitely be back! Gem of a boutique hotel with only 6 rooms. Best choice on the north beach, with a wonderful staff (Alexander the manager is outstanding), prime location walking distance to restaurants and main area...but, quiet at night with a lively beach club, bar and restaurant. They will treat you like gold. Will definitely go back with 5 more couples! It’s that good.
