Had a great dive with Emilio's dive center. We were a group of 6 people, with different experience levels. They were easy in organizing a trip for us on very short notice. They thought the basics well to the once with less experience and everyone felt comfortable and save under water with all the instructors.

It’s really good if you are an experienced diver. Bring your own snacks and lunch, they offer only fresh water. I had a hard time and missed out on the second dive. My weight wasn’t enough, the dive master didn’t help me out with that because apparently he was in a hurry and we ended up doing a 24m dive with no dive plan. When we got to the bottom I had used 1/3 of my oxygen because it was a real struggle to get that deep for the very first time in my life. Had to go up alone with no safety stop because we got lost and another dive master from a different tour realized I was in trouble and running out of air. Got back in the boat and no one asked if I was ok. Could had had severe decompression sickness and all I got was: you are not going to the next dive. Not my recommendation for begginers that are looking for easy breezy diving. Definetly suited for divers that are more self sufficient and don’t really want a dive master around guiding and helping you out. They know the best spots to got to, but rely only on you for your own safety. Emilio was super helpful about everything but I guess when you dive, don’t count on the divemaster and double check your weight, don’t let anyone speed you up (you are on a holiday) and don’t jump in the water without a diving plan. Learned a lot from this experience. Still sad about not having an amazing diving tour in Isla Mujeres :/ 110 dolars for a lesson, not a dive.

We had an amazing experience swimming with whale sharks with Emilio Dive Zone in Isla Mujeres. They were very punctual, they gave us instructions on sharks during the boat trip and we had lots of time swimming with these wonderful creatures (two dives of at least 10 mins each). Lunch was also pretty good they served us with very tasty ceviche! The boat was also quite nice, robust and fast (unlike many others that we saw around us). Highly recommended!!
