METHODIST CHURCH OF MEXICO Who are we? We are members of the Universal Christian Church, founded by our Lord Jesus Christ. The qualifier of Methodists emerged as a derogatory nickname (nickname), to describe the fervent, disciplined, methodical behavior of a group of sincere Christians in England, during the eighteenth century. We are currently more than eighty million Methodists in about one hundred countries around the world. They, led by Pastor John Wesley, minister of the Anglican Church, formed a group and then a society of believers, who lived the transforming power of God in Jesus Christ, absolutely believed that the Holy Scriptures (The Bible) are the Revelation of God , whose content is sufficient to understand the Plan of Salvation for the Human Gender, and thus get to enjoy the full life within the path of holiness. They struggled to be used by God to transform their world integrally, and they succeeded: in the religious and social, since then, God has continued to transform people, families, communities and entire countries to this day, using this part of the Body of Christ that we call Methodist Church.
