We got to experience the great hospitality of Casa Sol as part of our stay at neighbouring Maquil and it fully lived up to its reputation as a cozy and luxurious getaway spot. The staff were incredible, and we had some of our best meals on our trip here, starting the day with breakfast and returning for the famous happy hour to mingle with the other guests. Many of those guests had been coming back to Casa Sol for years and it’s not hard to see why. The view from the terrace and almost-private beach make it almost unnecessary to venture into town (though you should).

We stayed in the Hideway, with the private little pool. It was just amazing, I wished we could have stayed way longer ! (like forever?). We loved jumping in the little pool right after waking up, with the view of the ocean...(sigh). People were very friendly too, Ernesto and Pepe were always here to chat and help. Just perfect place to relax. I would come back without a doubt!

Ten days in one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! Our room was very comfortable and we had a view of the ocean that we never tired of. The rates are completely reasonable. The place is well-run and a delight to the eye with beautiful stone work everywhere. Interaction with fellow guests really made our experience unforgettable. It's about 10 minutes on foot to the village which is simply a delightful place full of restaurants and bars. Ernesto, the manager, is a gem! Don't hesitate to book here.

Spectacular serene ocean views, a secret beachfront retreat on the sensational Bahia Camaron (Shrimp Bay). We have spent two weeks there at this guesthouse and ware very pleased with the owners’ hospitality and their warm welcome. Rooms and the entire place was very clean and well taken care of, bed and bedding were very comfortable, the guest staff was prompt, very informative, reliable, and friendly. Perfect place to relax, unwind and forget about everything, simply amazing quiet and peaceful spot. Our overall experience here was great, and we would recommend this guesthouse to our friends, no doubt.
