The idea of Semeling Street Art was launch in Nov 2014 and officiated by Dato' Seri Mukhriz bin Mahathir . As you travel from Sungai Petani town or exiting from SP North toll, you will pass by a bridge that also provide very nice scenery of the mangrove swamp. You may also make a turn to the jetty before the brdge to catch some nice view of the bridge, the river, the mangrove swamp, charcoal kiln and a brief walk around. After the bridge, you shall arrive at a small town, Semeling. The street art is behind the back lane of the shop at the right. It's already being years since, so dont be disappointed to see some of the art already worn out. But personally, I felt it is worth to appreciate the Arts of Teamwork shown by all the volunteers that make it a successful event in 2014, when this small town become popular with visitors. The best time to visit is after 5 pm when the back lane is well shaded by the shadow of the shoplot.
