RESTORAN WASHOKU DON

I am quite impressed with this establishment especially when it is located in Muar. Maintaining the quality of Japanese food is not easy, for sashimi that need to be imported, they have to maintain transportation at - 16°C, which is a feat if the outlet is in Muar. It is not halal certified because they are selling sake, but they are certainly pork free. For Muslim patrons, if you are in any doubt, just double check with the staff, who are more than happy to find out if any sake or mirin used in the food. They even changed my shab\u2 soup from Hokkaido milk to konbu, when the manager was not sure of the contents of the Hokkaido milk. Their attitude resembles Japanese culture. Do try the shiro maguro, which l didn't even find in Japan & allegedly, even ordered by the Sultan of Johor , as claimed by the lead staff. The setting is simple, not crowded which is a criteria to eat out during MCO.

The customer service is worse than before. Younger staff don't know how to serve and don't know how to be polite to customers.

Location is off main road, food is very nice.

The price of food is higher or same standard in KL, the food are good but i believe the price can be go lower.

Unique shop change to Japanese restaurant. No luxury furniture but luxury in the foods.
