Mama's Chalet

(12 Sept, 2020) I saw your tourists (could be The Barat Perhentian's or Coral View Island Resort's) harming the turtle by hugging its back when the turtle was swimming to the water surface to breathe (between 5pm to 6pm)! A family of 6,7 (Malay), one of the guy hugged the turtle from its back that the turtle could not swam up to breathe and he held it so it would not swim away (to let each of his family member to touch it). Didn't you let the tourists know that the turtles are under conservation and treating turtles like this would get fine or punishment?! I was very angry, I told them they could kill the turtle and asked them stop doing that! It's a shame that my phone could not function well under the water, if not I would have taken pictures as evidence! I reported it my hotel counter (PIR) and Perhentian Turtle Project, they would be stricter on such situation in future, I only can voice up for the turtles here since I do not have pictures. Please educate well the tourists, thank you!

Big room, comfortable, sweet for family for family room, seaview, aircon n fan...Siitablè foŕ 4-6pax....price are Reasonable... Whereas, the small room ìs only occupied with wall fan n does not have a nice view...

Not the cheapest, but very affordable and comfortable place to stay in. They've made many improvements over the years, adding more amenities to the room. The chalet also provides snorkeling packages.

Cozy, Seaview and very friendly employees with very reasonable restaurant. Highly recommended for those looking for economical package.

We found poop in the bathroom and room was in poor condition. We received our money back and went to a different place.
