The guided tour here is absolutely wonderful, and free if you are in time! Highly recommend to check it out, one of the highlights during my visit for sure.

I LOVE PENANG AND WANT TO GIVE 5 Stars but I cant! because they have really REALLY REALLY UNSTABLE SLOW WIFI all over the CITY This is now one of the most important things for travel, and they fail in this area. I am a business traveler, 5 times to Penang over 2 years, and Penang has unstable and slow working wifi consistently, and it is now not acceptable for a traveler.

The free tour is good, even if our guide sometimes "decorated" a lot. Nevertheless, recommended. It's best to stay at the beginning of a Georgetown stay as there are some corners that you might not find or perceive otherwise. Register early The free tours are limited to 20 people.
