Its ok. Price @ small room.
The view is extremely beautiful, however the service can be pretty slow. the parking spaces are pretty limited too. Other than that, the qualities of the hotel are middle tier and do make for a comfortable stay
Decided to give 4 stars by virtue of its excellent location, right at one corner of Taiping Lake. Otherwise just 3 stars.
Pay a premium to have rooms with lake view.
Last stayed over 10 years ago. Not much has changed, except that the room is dated, dull, devoid of any decoration. Towels are a bit rough.
Bathroom isn't spotless; usual toiletries are available. Hot water is good.
Raintree cafe at GF is pleasant but has limited options. For a hotel, its price is very reasonable. Ordered fish and chips, and it takes ages to come -- i am the only guest! Taste alright though.
Waitress can't communicate in English.
Parking was limited. You have to park far for the hotel without security patrol. Crowded during breakfast. They only provided 8 seated table. Have to share table with other hotel guest.
Nice room. Good food. Affordable prices
