Harbour Cafe

Waited for more than 45 minutes n was told after asking that the kitchen forgot to prepare my second main course..paid n walked away, yr restaurant was empty by the way..keep it up n im sure u will close it down soon..a waste of time spoiled my dinner experience...

It was a last minute Christmas buffet when we arrived in JB. Didn't have time to look far, and it was a poor decision to spent RM128nett per person in Harbour cafe in Jen Hotel. It was tempting when you enter the cafe with rows of patisseries greeting you. Kids are thrill. Many food choices but sadly, there's no quality in term of freshness and taste. Very slow in topping up on BBQ and satay. Staff, a lady and a giant looking chef were chatting away despite satay, rice, sauce were totally out for a little while. The chef slowly peeled open a pack and grill partial of the pack. And was quickly finished when it's done. Until a young skinny chef took over and covered the whole grill station. There were already 8 people queuing for it. Prawn at BBQ station were pathetic and were quic kly snapped up. Prawns, scallops, crabs were all not fresh and tasteless. Forget the chawamushi. Not really worth the money at all. Cakes were good, I must say, waiters and waitresses are very polite and efficient in their service. That's the 2 stars are for. I would skip this cafe for quality.

Nice cosy restaurant inside hotel Jen Puteri Harbour in Johor Bahru. Wide selection of food with various cooking stations for breakfast. There are local Malaysian food and also Chinese food selection to cater to the large groups of tourists. Ample seating available. The croissants are freshly baked on the spot and are absolutely yummy, just like their other baked goods. There’s even freshly pulled Teh Tarik. Staff are polite and friendly despite being overwhelmed especially by the large groups of tour groups.

Those bad reviews are true. Pandan chicken is not even fully cooked, still reddish inside.. Already ate a bite before noticing this.. got stomach ache after this. Not forgetting to mention that their metal cups are ALL RUSTED still display for customer to use.. HYGIENE GUYS DO YOU KNOW IT? I would give zero stars if I could
