It's good when this re-opening. Take only 01 hours flight from subang. Like I said to my friends..1000am at airport.. 1130am you're in sea for snorkeling.. 😂😂..BUT only for Berjaya Hotel guests only.Hopefully will open for public..

Runway too short. Very expensive take flight to Redang Island. Usually people took flight from KLIA2 to Kuala Trengganu via AirAsia or Malindo or Firefly, transit by van to Merang Jetty, speed boat transfer to Redang Island. If runway extended to at least 1.8km for separate take off and landing in parallel then ATR 72-600 possible to take off and landing directly to Redang. Malindo ATR 72-600 carry 61 seats, freq flight will help promote local tourism and ferry peoples easily to there. There was closure season due to monsoon and bad weather that not suitable for boat and flight as well. Each year nov to feb was closure time.
