Good place for books & stationery. Two of their outlets at Hock Lee Center & One Jaya Shopping Mall have closed or relocated recently. Operating any business in these tough economic times is not easy and it is especially challenging for a traditional brick and mortar bookshop. People are glued to their smartphones most of the time and many folks very much prefer consuming trashy media and engaging in pointless banter online rather than doing something more useful, as a result, directly or indirectly, interest in reading is dwindling; very few people are willing to spend any money on books unless they are a required textbook for school. Long gone are the days when people would get their dose of entertainment and knowledge in print.
