Good to learn about history of Chinese origin in sarawak. Easy to find just across the main street. Can Walk from waterfront.

Pretty sure some rich Chinese dudes are responsible for maintaining the place. Don't let the extrior design of the building fool you, its inside is surprisingly modern, clean and informative. We get to learn how the Chinese community in Sarawak developed. We also get to listen to their various dialects, accompanied by their history. Highly recommendable.

The exhibition was surprisingly good! Worth a look if you are interested to learn more about the Chinese diaspora in Sarawak. My favorite part was the short audio recordings in the various dialects.

Charming little musuem. Makes me appreciate our ancestors, culture and heritage. Been living in UK for almost 7 years now but Malaysia is forever home to me. 💗 Great place for family or day trip out with friends .
