KB Backpacker's Inn

Very basic; which is absolutely fine at 20RM per night. Things that were bad included: old dirty mattresses, no lockers in rooms, common room was closed very early so nowhere to chill. Redeeming features: good location, friendly and helpful owner.

Kota Baru is a passing city, to be a few days. that's why, if you want to pay little and be well Pesona Backpackers Inn is your place. the cheapest that we found and the beds are fine. the cleaning is a little bad, but the owner is so nice that if you tell him he changes everything and gives you facilities. very good

The room was kind of clean and cheap (45 Myr). Mattresses are dirty and messes up. Whole place is pretty run down, windows could not be closed and the street is very noisy during the whole night. No lights at the roof top terrace. Cockroaches in the shared bathroom. The owner was nice and helpful and the rooms are cheap, but that's about the only positive b thing.
