Very nice owner/manager. Quiet, breezy, next to the beach, far away enough but not too far from the main road.

We stayed at Summerland for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The setting is peaceful and beautiful, just a few metres from the beach which is perfect for swimming. Usually we had the whole beach to ourselves. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and newly decorated. Our hosts Bakh and Siti were extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable and prepared delicious Malaysian breakfasts for us each day. There are some great activities and day trips nearby such as visiting nearby islands (pulau redang) for snorkelling and a firefly tour by boat on the nearby wetlands. Highly recommended! Thanks Bakh and Siti for a wonderful stay.
