Batu Pahat Laksa

What a jem. A bowl of spicy and tasty laksa. Full of flavor. Recommend mixed noodles of bee hoon and yellow noodles. Add a bit of chili after a few mouthful for a change of taste. Tofu is good.

Tasty curry laksa. The curry soup is good. Ingredients are simple with dried tofu, clams, fish paste and a slice of sotong. The owner is also very courteous even though busy preparing food.

It is a local known only hawker stall located by the street (Jln Pengkai). It has been serving the same laksa for the past 3 decades and is running by elderly owner. Please expect waiting time of around 20mins. You can order with the lady boss, she will give you a number if you sit at the back area. We ordered 3 small bowl of laksa mee hon / mee with added cockles. We found cuttlefish, bean curd, fish cake, bean sprout in the small bowl. The soup is not thick but flavourful sweet and fragrance. It is not spicy but just nice for our girls of 5 years old.

Simple delicious

Sadly yesterday's BP laksa was a bit bland. Actually BP laksa is my favorite laksa in Batu Pahat as the gravy is super delicious bcos it does not have santan in the curry.
