Assemblies of God's Church Owerre Nkworji, located in Uhusieke Village was amongst the Pioneer Pentecostal Churches the brought full Gospel to the town. As at then, their mode of worship was strange as most people in the community were orthodox Anglican, Catholic or First African Church. Today, the still stands preaching the undiluted Gospel it is know with members drawn from within and outside Owerre Nkwoji.
