I stumbled upon this eye care center online while trying to find a good place to recommend to me a suitable prescription glass, and I wonderfully surprised and satisfied with quality and highly professional service I got. With state of the art equipment, staff and the doctor were professional and caring. I would definitely recommend this eye hospital to anyone looking for reliable and fast quality service.

It is a small place in jabi, quite easy to find as it is directly opposite jabi lake . I chose this place because of the manner in which the owner responded to my calls. Compared to the many other clinics that I called, he gave me a mini consultation via phonecall and this helped me do a bit more research about the type of lens to expect. I was not impressed with the staff though and the way the physical examination was conducted. I felt like I was in a 'teaching hospital' where the patient is a test example used to teach the interns at the hospital. I was in the consultation room with the man and his students and though I eventually managed to be comfortable in their presence, I do feel that it is not very professional to do a consultation in that manner. Two people in the room is fine, but anything more? I think that the patient should be asked if they feel comfortable being in the room with four trainees. Another thing that got me a bit upset was the manner of courtesy of the members of staff. They do need some sort of professional training in courtesy towards the clients. This may not be an issue for some other clients perhaps because I work in an office that demands extreme professionalism and brilliant customer service to all clients. I brought my frame and it seemed like the staff did not know what they were saying. First, they were all talking at the same time. Imagine listening to five people talking at the same time. My head was everywhere. I had to tell them that I could not stand the confusion and that they should return my frame to me if they did not know what to do with it. They rejected the frame at first but could not give a coherent explanation as to why it was rejected. There was also the bit where I was called to come pick up my glasses and the lady on the other end was hostile when I told her that I could not make it by 6pm. All these are minor issues though as the doctor himself did a good job in educating me about my eyes and things to not do with them. I would rather deal with him directly than go through his staff. Overall, it is a nice place and pretty affordable. 50% recommended.
