The complex is an impressive architectural edifice which houses offices of all Elected members and the speaker, as well as legislative staff. It's an old building that has been poorly and rarely maintained. It is situated right beside the Imo State Secretariate complex.

The legislative chamber of IMO state. It has parking space and is accessible.

The Imo State House of Assembly complex is the legislative arm of the government. Deliberations and activities of law making are carried out in the chambers. The building provides offices for each of the 27 Local Government Representatives.
