A good place for relaxation and spacious hall for events

My stay at the hotel was "okay". It is one of the few hotels in Oyo that guarantees electricity all through the day and night. The air conditioners work crazily and if you are not careful, you might catch a cold. Staff are courteous, ready to help and welcoming. The manager tried to make our stay comfortable and was ready to help if we needed anything. There are different buildings which sorts of makeup different categories for the hotel. They are: 1. Fadeke - This is the cheapest of the blocks, spacious, old but functioning window unit ACs and good for guests who don't want to spend a lot and just wants to sleep and wake up. 2. Mini Suites: A room and parlour set of blocks, good for a family who wants to have a space like home. Has its own garage car park, but It's not sophisticated or modern looking internally though, but the price is good for a family that wants a room and parlour rather than different rooms. 3. Main Building: This blocks has one of the most cooling ACs ever. Comes with small beds though, a work bench, chair, and a bathroom that should need an upgrade soon. If you cannot get the legacy block, and you want something close to it in function, appearance and price, this is the block for you. *I have attached a picture of one of the rooms in the main building for easy reference*. 4: The Double suite: This is perfect for families with children has it is a block with two rooms and a sitting room. The rooms come with king size beds, a dining table that can sit 8 guests or more. Sofas, TVs, ACs and a garage car park too. It is decent and if you can afford it as a family, I would recommend this suite. 5: The legacy building is the most modern building in the hotel. This is the block I highly recommend. If you are looking for a room with a working heater, I would recommend room 003 in the legacy building. It is very spacious (especially the rooms on the right), with a king size bed, wardrobe, working AC, working heater but no standing mirror. Though the hotel gets you hot water if you need one at any point in time, I would recommend you have an agreement with the front desk before booking your room as the intercom doesn't work. Room service wasn't that effective, as no one came to ask to clean our room throughout our stay. Kitchen was also mostly not available for some of my guests who wanted food too. I guess the bar is the most effective, and we had a DJ who gave us a great performance on Saturday night. Drinks were affordable and the staff who attended to us was quite patient. Overall, I and my guest had a nice stay and I will choose the hotel again on my future visits. Hopefully the service and room cleanliness improves.

It's gradually getting dilapidating and needs general overhaul.
