St Mary's Catholic Church Okwojo Ngwo is along the old Enugu - Onitsha road. It is called the Mother Parish of Ngwo being the first Catholic church in Ngwo. This place of worship occupies a large expanse of land that makes vehicle parking during mass easy. The building architecture is laced with a peculiar tower with MARY crafted on it. The parish holds three masses every Sunday at 5:30am 8:00am (out station mostly) and 10am respectively. The parish also runs Primary and Secondary school called Ave Maria group of schools.
