It's a terrible place, but it's our Home...

I find Alvan Ikoku Hostel conducive (at least in comparison with the other Hostel for male students). The toilets and bathrooms are not in their best conditions but they are fairly usable. Power is quite stable here but sometimes there's an issue with water (like right now). There's a convenience store on the ground floor and a hall lounge where one can follow EPL matches and other European football leagues and competitions.

Alvan Ikoku Hostel should be refurbished to boost competitive participation . The facility is in sore need of structural repair for relaxation of student occupancy and to withstand crowd. Situated at a vantage point of UNN the hostel should be given a facelift to represent a truly old tradition and yet face modern academic demands. 32% rating.

It is congested..... It is one of the two boys hostel in the University of Nigeria Nsukka and it is so congested...... It is very close to the old gate-second gate. It is kinda far from classes but close to Faculty of Art...... It is close to the school's stadium. ... But it is ok though..... It is also located close to a UC store and the school's gas station

Well, in its present state it is actually a nice place to stay except for the bathrooms and toilets which I think should be renovated as soon as possible.. Also the electrical wirings need to be treated with utmost effect as students living there might be exposed to live wire and electric shock.
