Lovely
There service is really okay for an average Nigerian family not overly expensive.
Service delivery was prompt. Although I couldn't get what i went there for.
I took my baby to Doren(Ajah) on the 14th of December 2020. I will start with my positive observations.
* The hospital environment is clean.
*The pharmacy staff were very nice and polite
*The receptionists and doctor observed the covid -19 protocols.
Now this is where my negative observations start. Ironically, patients were within the hospital premises without mask on and no one cautioned them. True, 80% of patients in the waiting area were on masks but 75% wore the masks on their chins. There was no hand sanitizer at the entrance of the hospital. At the receptionist area there was also no visible sanitizer. I had to ask for it before I was given.
At the room for vitals, the nurse was taking vitals without any form of gloves on. Considering that this same nurse handles adults and babies, I think it's proper for the nurse to have disposable gloves on. The nurse wasn't on mask.
I understand the reason why my baby's weight had to be taken with his clothes on. But patients will appreciate it if a conducive environment is provided to enable us get the accurate weight of babies.
I'm not comfortable at all that patients at a point, had to stand because there were no seats available. The hospital personnel did nothing about it. Patients had where to seat because there violated the covid 19 protocol( they sat without any space between two persons).
The security was just looking at me as I was struggling to reverse. Possibly not part of his job description.
Service delivery was really slow. Spent 4hours in the hospital just to get treated for malaria! If not that I was agitated and did a close follow up, extra time would have been wasted. A bit of non-challant attitude and bias was displayed by the staff especially those in charge of taking blood samples.
