I had an amazing experience climbing Olumo rock. The gate fee is #1000. The tour guide who took us round was very friendly and helpful ( P.S. he said we have to tip him so be prepared for that). As we climbed, we were told stories at various points and these stories were told in Yoruba and English. The tour guide offered to snap us and he took over 50 pictures and they were nice. It was stressful climbing the entrance stairs at first ( I am not a fan of staircase) but as we progressed, we climbed and sat on rocks. From Olumo rock, I had a view of the first church and mosque and Ogun river trail. At the peak, the view is amazing. We took several pictures and even met a young boy who took us nice on-air pictures ( jumping pictures). We tipped the tour guide and he left. We descended using a staircase created for people who are not willing to climb. It was an amazing experience and I'd advise anyone willing to take a tour to visit Olumo rock. There is a restaurant inside the place so you can eat there (P.S. I'd advise you climb before eating so you don't feel heavy while climbing).

Thrilling experience climbing to the top of the rock. The lift facility is not functional, providing a more interesting climb. Awesome view of the old town surrounding the rock from the top.

It was an amazing experience. I had a swell time. I am glad I came to Olumo Rock and the tour guides were so pleasant and very customer centric. They deserve a raise.
